Significant movers and analyst calls; NASDAQ Short interest; big changes in 52-week lows
As always, here are the top headline summaries from the WSJ, Reuters, Financial Times, New York Times and more. Today's top analyst upgrades and downgrades are in ADI, NLY, BIDU, CVX, ESLR, ITMN, JCG, LMT, SONC, and VALE. The NASDAQ short interest from the end of February is out and we saw some drops in the short interest of key tech shares in MU, AMZN, MSFT, CSCO, AAPL and more.
We did some of the crash reviews back on looking at the 52-week lows. This will change very soon over the next few weeks, but on the DJIA components there were 10 of the 30 with gains of more than 100% and 4 more that were up 90%. On the Russel 2K, we found over 40 stocks that had passed the 800% gains hurdle. Last week we also showed this in the money center banks and in key technology stocks.
